Celgard to supply battery separators to ABF’s upcoming LFP Gigafactories in the US
The two companies plan to share resources to develop the next-generation of LFP cells in the near future.
American plastics manufacturing company Celgard announced via press release on 22 August that it had entered into a strategic alliance agreement with battery manufacturer American Battery Factory (ABF) to jointly commercialize the development and production of state-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in the US.
