Startup Hesai Technology to supply lidar sensors for Xiaomi’s first car
Hesai's hybrid solid-state lidar AT128 will serve as the primary lidar installation on Xiaomi's first car
Chinese news outlet LatePost stated on 2 September that Xiaomi has chosen Hesai Technology as the lidar provider for its first vehicle, which would cost more than CNY300,000 (USD43,460). Xiaomi had already invested in the lidar company for ADAS and autonomous driving.
