JFE, Emirates Steel, Itochu to set up green steel raw material supply chain
Emirates Steel will reduce iron ore supplied by Itochu into ferrous material that can be used by JFE to make green steel.
Japanese steel manufacturer JFE announced via press release on 1 September that it had agreed to partner with steel products supplier Emirates Steel and Japanese trading company Itochu to jointly conduct detailed feasibility studies for the development of a supply chain for green steel raw materials.
