Lion Elastomers to invest USD22 million to expand synthetic rubber capacity at Louisiana plant
The investment decision was driven by a high availability of raw materials and proximity to distribution markets in the region
US manufacturer of elastomeric polymers Lion Elastomers announced via press release on 31 August that it will be investing USD22 million to set up a new multi-level production building housing two new finishing lines at its Geismar ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber manufacturing plant in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, US.
