Qualcomm, Red Hat collaborate to roll out Linux-based solutions for software-defined vehicles
The partnership aims to advance development, deployment of software-defined vehicles
Qualcomm Technologies has announced via press release on 23 September that it partnered with Red Hat to bring functional-safety certified (ASIL-B) Linux-based operating systems to next generation vehicles that utilize Snapdragon Digital Chassis platforms for use in automotive telematics and connectivity, digital cockpit, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
