Tesla replaces ultrasonic sensors with camera-based autopilot system in new cars
USS will be removed from Model S and Model X in 2023
Tesla has announced that it will be replacing ultrasonic sensors (USS) used in its cars for autonomous driving and will replace them with the camera-only Tesla Vision autopilot system, according to an update on its official support page earlier this week.
