THUMS enhances the modeling of the human body with a more accurate rendering of the geometry and properties of crucial body parts

Toyota announced further development of Total Human Model for Safety (THUMS), its software program for computer simulation and analysis of injuries resulting from vehicle crash impacts, the company said in a press release dated March 23.
