Volkswagen unveils next-generation electric drive for MEB-based battery electric cars
Volkswagen plans to start delivering the first EVs with the new drive in a 210-kW version from the end of 2023
Europe’s largest carmaker Volkswagen (VW) has unveiled its next-generation electric drive for its ID. family of electric cars, the company announced on April 12. VW said that its all-new APP550 rear-wheel drive will offer higher performance combined with improved efficiency for the ID. models, thereby benefiting both in terms of power and increased driving range.
