VW aims to garner 10% of the US auto market by 2030 compared to about 4% currently
Europe’s largest carmaker Volkswagen plans to sell 25 battery-electric vehicle (BEV) models in the US by 2030, all of which should qualify for the maximum $7,500 in tax credits provided under the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), according to a report published by the Automotive News Europe on April 7.
