STMicroelectronics introduces automotive inertial module with a certified ASIL B software library
The module can support ADAS or V2X communication, help stabilize key sensing systems such as radar, lidar and visual cameras, and assist semi-automated driving
STMicroelectronics has introduced an automotive-qualified microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS) inertial-sensing module that provides accurate measurements for a wide variety of vehicle functions and, with the dedicated software provided, addresses functional-safety applications up to Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) B, the company said on April 19.
