GM recalls nearly 1 million US vehicles for airbag defect

The recall covers 994,763 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia vehicles from 2014 through 2017

General Motors Co. (GM) announced May 12 it will recall nearly 1 million sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in the US because the driver's airbag inflator may explode during deployment, a Reuters report dated May 13 said.
