The multiyear contract to supply pCAM made from recycled battery materials can be extended to a larger quantity with a value of up to $5 billion

US-based closed-loop battery recycling company Ascend Elements Inc. has signed a multiyear contract to supply about $1 billion worth of sustainable cathode precursor (pCAM) to a major US-based company for the latter’s battery-manufacturing process, beginning in the fourth quarter of 2024, Ascend said in an announcement June 7.
