Volkswagen’s luxury-car unit Audi looks to shorten the development time of electric cars in its future pipeline and is evaluating the possibility of acquiring a platform from a competitor for the first time in China, the world’s largest electric vehicle market, according to a news report published by the German publication Automobilwoche on July 9.
