Fortum plans to set up battery-recycling facility in Germany
The black mass facility will be Fortum Battery Recycling’s second hub in Central Europe, demonstrating its strong growth roadmap
Fortum, a Nordic energy company, and its battery-recycling unit Fortum Battery Recycling has started the feasibility study of installing a production facility for sustainable secondary battery materials in the industrial area of Artern, Thuringia, Germany, the company said July 13.
