Panasonic is evaluating the option of setting up a battery plant in India under the government’s ACC battery-storage scheme

Executives from Japanese battery manufacturer Panasonic have met senior Indian government officials to discuss setting up a potential battery plant in India, according to a news report published by the local newspaper Times of India on July 17.
