Tata Group in talks with AESC for global battery supplies
Tata Group is exploring high-powered NMC cells as well as solid-state battery technology with Envision AESC
Japanese battery-maker Envision AESC is the front-runner among a number of global battery suppliers, including South Korea’s LG Energy and China’s CATL, that are being explored by India’s Tata Motors as part of its Project Apollo over the past year, according to a news report published by Autocar Professional on August 4.
