SAF85xx is a high-performance, one-chip solution for automotive radar applications with four transmitters and four receivers

Gapwaves announced a new collaboration with NXP Semiconductors to codevelop 3D waveguide antenna solutions based on NXP’s SAF85xx, a 28-nanometer radio frequency (RF) complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) radar one-chip integrated circuit (IC) for next-generation advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving systems, and Gapwaves proprietary waveguide antenna technology, according to a press release on September 18.
