Umicore plans to invest €1.27 billion on its battery materials plant in Ontario until 2026
Confirming expansion of its electric vehicle battery materials production footprint in Ontario, Umicore announced on October 16 that the company is proceeding with the construction of its 35-GWh-equivalent battery materials production plant at the chosen site in Loyalist, Ontario.
