The automaker says the Arlington walkout doubles the weekly cost of the union dispute to $400 million

In yet another aggressive step in the ongoing tussle with automakers, the United Auto Workers (UAW) union on October 24 struck a General Motors assembly plant in Texas that builds the US automaker's profitable full-size sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in another significant expansion of the strike.
