DMV cites safety concerns for Cruise's self-driving vehicles, halts operations amid investigations

General Motors' driverless car unit, Cruise, has announced that it will suspend all operations nationwide after the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) ordered the company to remove its driverless cars from state roads, according to a report published by Reuters on October 27.
