LG Chem, LX Hausys develop innovative material to delay battery-thermal runaway

South Korean companies LG Chem and LX Hausys have jointly developed an innovative material, which delays battery-thermal runaway and can withstand a flame at 1,500°C for over 20 minutes, LG Chem announced October 27.
