KG Mobility partners BYD to make batteries in South Korea
KG Mobility’s predecessor, Ssangyong Motors, had also signed an MOU with BYD on technical cooperation in EV battery development and in-house battery production
KG Mobility plans to build a battery pack manufacturing plant in South Korea by using technology from China’s largest electric vehicle maker, BYD, according to a news report published by BusinessKorea on Nov. 3.
