Orbia, Solvay team up to build PVDF production plant for battery materials in North America
Orbia and Solvay intend to use two production sites in the US with both plants slated to be operational in 2026
Orbia’s Fluorinated Solutions business and Solvay have signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to create the largest polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) production facilities for battery materials in North America, Orbia announced Nov. 2.
