Lucid Motors expands capacity at US car factory ahead of new electric SUV launch
The AMP-1 expansion includes a new 3 million-square-foot manufacturing facility and warehouse
US electric-vehicle maker Lucid Group (Lucid) announced Jan. 24 that it is expanding its production plant — US Advanced Manufacturing Plant (AMP-1) — to bolster its manufacturing capabilities ahead of production of its all-new fully electric sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Lucid Gravity.
