Toyota halts production at six lines due to engine issue, affecting multiple models including the Alphard minivan

Japanese automakers Toyota Motor and Hino Motors have temporarily halted some production lines after Toyota Industries, a group company, admitted to cheating on engine certification, according to a report by Nikkei Asia on Jan. 30.
