Asahi Kasei added that the separation is expected to accelerate the growth of its Energy Storage business, particularly in automotive applications
Asahi Kasei has announced that it will separate its Hipore lithium-ion (Li-ion) Battery Separator business into a dedicated subsidiary, Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Corp. (AKBSC), effective Oct. 1, 2024.
