Saudi Aramco and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) are in early stages of work to extract lithium
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates' national oil companies are planning to extract lithium from brine(s) in their oilfields, according to a news report published by Reuters on March 8. It said that the plan to extract lithium is aligned with the region’s efforts to diversify its economies and position the countries to continue as key suppliers of raw material for battery production.
