Aisin, Mitsubishi Electric to establish JV for developing EV components
Under the proposed JV, the companies will develop, produce and sell traction motors, power converters and control software for next-gen EVs
Mitsubishi Electric Corp., Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corp. (collectively known as Mitsubishi Electric Group), and Aisin Corp. have entered into a basic agreement to create a joint venture to manage products for future electric vehicles, Aisin announced in a press release on May 24.
