Nissan expects to save nearly $1 billion in development costs for all five models in the family with the help of the gigacasting approach
Japanese carmaker Nissan Motor Corp. plans to adopt the gigacasting approach for manufacturing electric vehicles, following the footsteps of industry leader Tesla, according to a news report published by Automotive News on May 26.
