Guident collaborates with Space Florida and NOVELSAT to enhance autonomous vehicle safety using advanced satellite technology

Guident, an autonomous vehicle teleoperation company based in Boca Raton, FL, has announced an exciting partnership through the Space Florida-Israel Innovation Partnership program. The collaboration aims to utilize cutting-edge low-latency satellite services and AI to improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of autonomous vehicles. The initiative is supported by a grant that will enable the development of an advanced system architecture using non-geostationary satellite technology to enhance autonomous vehicle communication. This technology promises to establish a reliable and redundant connection with remote monitoring and control centers, particularly beneficial in areas with scarce terrestrial network coverage.
