TIER IV to lead Japan's autonomous driving project with METI funding
In a major initiative backed by Japan's METI, TIER IV will develop robo-taxis and autonomous trucks, securing up to $4.5 million for fiscal year 2024
TIER IV has been chosen for a significant project under the direction of Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to implement robo-taxis for transportation and autonomous trucks for logistics, according to a press release Aug. 20.
