Sony Semiconductor Solutions to release CMOS image sensor for automotive cameras
By expanding the applications a single camera can offer, the new product helps simplify automotive camera systems and saves space, cost, and power
According to a press release on Oct. 3, Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corp. (SSS) announced the upcoming release of the ISX038 complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor for automotive cameras that can simultaneously process and output RAW*1 and YUV*2 images.
