Hyundai may expand capacity in the US after Trump shares new tariff plan
Hyundai is planning to expand capacity at its Metaplant America in Georgia from 300,000 units per year to about 500,000 units per year
South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai Motor Group is working on new strategies to deal with tariffs on its export volumes, after US President Donald Trump announced his plan to impose duties of about 25% on cars imported into the US, according to a news report published by The Korea Times on Feb. 19.
