The deal involves the reduction of a 25% import tax on cars to 10% for 100,000 cars annually, benefiting UK's luxury carmakers such as Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Rolls Royce

The United States and the United Kingdom have reached an agreement to reduce import taxes on a set number of British cars and allow some steel and aluminum to enter the US tariff-free. This new arrangement presents a respite for key UK industries from certain tariffs implemented by US President Donald Trump since his re-election.
