Mazda adopts North American Charging Standard for battery-electric vehicles launched in Japan
The move will help Mazda EV customers access the Tesla Supercharger network across Japan
Japanese carmaker Mazda Motor Corp. announced on May 9 that it reached an agreement with the American electric carmaker Tesla to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for charging ports on Mazda's battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) launched in Japan from 2027.
