Waymo receives approval to expand robo-taxi services in California
The approval coincides with Tesla's robo-taxi service launch preparations
Alphabet's self-driving unit, Waymo, announced that it received permission from California, US, to extend its robo-taxi operations to additional areas of the San Francisco Peninsula, including San Jose, according to a report published by Reuters on May 20.
