Luminar to raise $200 million from investors through convertible preferred stock
The new funding will provide Luminar with financial flexibility and strengthens its balance sheet
Luminar Technologies, a US-based company specializing in Lidar technology, finalized an agreement with YA II PN Ltd., an investment fund managed by Yorkville Advisors Global, and another accredited investor to raise up to $200 million through convertible preferred stock in registered direct offerings over the next 18 months.
