The IMX479 sensor enhances Lidar for ADAS and automated driving with high-speed, high-resolution capabilities

According to a press release on June 10, Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corp. (SSS) announced the launch of the IMX479 stacked, direct time-of-flight (dToF) SPAD depth sensor designed for automotive Lidar systems, promising high-resolution and high-speed capabilities.
