Judge Tana Lin grants injunction to release $5 billion for NEVI program across 16 states and D.C.

A federal judge, Tana Lin, has ordered the Trump administration to release billions of dollars earmarked for the construction of electric vehicle charging stations in more than a dozen US states. This decision grants a preliminary injunction for the distribution of funds under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, which was allocated $5 billion and was set to be utilized from 2022 to 2026.
