PX5 FILE achieves ASIL D functional safety certification for real-time operating system
PX5 FILE supports developers in creating safety-certified automotive, industrial and medical devices with efficiency and cost-effectiveness
In a press release on June 17, PX5 has announced the off-the-shelf functional safety certification of its PX5 FILE, a high-performance real-time operating system and middleware. The certification, done by SGS-TÜV Saar, allows developers to use this embedded file allocation table (FAT) file system alongside their application software certification to efficiently and cost-effectively create safety-certified devices for the automotive, industrial, and medical sectors. This ultra-small certified file system provides a stable and reliable foundation adhering to industry best practices, enhancing product reliability, security, quality, and accelerating time to market.
