The expiration may lead to reduced EV sales and diminished US leadership in global electric transportation

The US electric vehicle tax credits, which include a $7,500 credit for new EV purchases or leases and a $4,000 credit for used EVs, are set to expire Sept. 30 following the recent tax and budget legislation passed by Congress.
