Inteva Products invests $8 million to expand production capacity at Mexican plant
The capacity expansion would allow Inteva to consolidate its position as a global supplier of automotive components and systems.
Inteva Products, a US-based supplier of vehicle interior systems, closures, motors and electronics, announced plans to invest 150 million Mexican pesos ($8 million) in expanding its Matamoros plant in Tamaulipas, Mexico, creating 500 direct jobs. The announcement was made in the presence of local and state government officials as well as company representatives who highlighted the direct impact of the investment on job creation and its contribution to strengthening the city’s economic and industrial ecosystem.
