Cruise cuts jobs at three locations, with the most affected positions at Bryant Street, San Francisco

Cruise, a self-driving taxi company backed by General Motors, has laid-off dozens of employees in the Bay Area, as per state filings with the Employment Development Department. The company, which has been scaling down its operations, had previously reduced its workforce by half earlier this year. In this latest round of layoffs, Cruise is cutting 101 jobs across three Bay Area locations. The majority of the layoffs, amounting to 85 positions, will occur at the company's Bryant Street location in San Francisco. Additionally, the company is eliminating two jobs at its headquarters on Cesar Chavez Street in San Francisco, and 14 positions in Sunnyvale.
