The raid led to the arrest of nearly 475 workers, mostly South Korean nationals

Hyundai Motor has halted construction work at its electric vehicle battery plant in Ellabell, Georgia, after a raid by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials resulted in the arrest of hundreds of workers, according to a report by The Independent on Sept. 6.
