TDK offers mechanically decoupled ultrasonic modules for collision avoidance
The USSM1.0 PLUS-FS sensor offers IP65/67 protection, customizable field-of-view, and precise measurement in challenging environments
According to a press release on Sep. 14, TDK has introduced the ultrasonic sensor module USSM1.0 PLUS-FS, featuring a mechanically decoupled sensor element from the housing. This design ensures that the IP65/67 protected sensor, identified with the order number B59110W2111W032, is resistant to external mechanical vibrations which could otherwise affect measurement accuracy. The module operates on a nominal voltage of 12 V and can be installed in a front chassis using an M19 thread with a locking nut or snap hooks.
