The recall affects the select model year 2025 Rivian R1S and R1T EVs that run an older software version

Rivian is recalling 24,214 vehicles due to a potential defect in their hands-free highway assist feature, USA Today reported Sept. 12, citing the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as the source.
