Toyota recalls over one million vehicles in US due to rearview camera defect

Toyota Motor announced a recall of 1.02 million vehicles in the US due to a defect that could cause the rear-view camera to malfunction and increase the risk of a crash, Reuters reported on Nov. 5. The recall affects certain Toyota and Lexus models from 2022 to 2026, including the Camry, Highlander, RAV4 and Prius, as well as Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor system.
