Pony AI collaborates with SANY Truck and Dongfeng to develop Gen-4 autonomous trucks
New Gen-4 autonomous trucks to use EV platforms, enhancing freight logistics with reduced costs and increased safety features
Pony AI has announced collaborations with SANY Truck and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor to develop fourth-generation autonomous trucks, known as the Gen-4 Autonomous Trucks. These trucks will be built on the advanced battery-electric vehicle platforms of SANY Truck and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, with a design focused on modularity and adaptability. The mass production of these models is planned for thousands of units, with an initial fleet deployment targeted for 2026.
