Vector Informatik is launching CANape 24, the latest version of its tool for measurement and calibration in modern vehicle architectures, enhancing functions for efficient acquisition, analysis and calibration of zonal electronic control units (ECUs) and high-performance computers (HPCs). The new version now supports the ASAM capture module protocol (CMP), extending options for precise measurements while maintaining compatibility with established standards, such as controller area network (CAN), FlexRay, Local Interconnect Network (LIN) and Ethernet (xBASE-T1). CANape 24 facilitates calibration and visualization of complex ECU architectures, including dynamic SOME/IP data structures.

CANape 24 introduces real-time advanced driver assistance systems validation, allowing developers to visualize drivable areas and obstacles, immediately evaluating sensor results from camera, radar or lidar-based systems to optimize safety-critical functions. Additionally, Vector offers vLoggerControlRoom for live vehicle monitoring, equipped with either a GL Logger or a Smart Logger. This system provides a configurable dashboard that displays real-time vehicle positions, signal values such as speed, and data logger status.

CANape 24 also includes 100 GB of cloud storage for logging projects and supports secure data exchange via Vector Team Services. Its VP75x1 logging and processing platform features hard disk encryption, ensuring reliable data protection.
