BYD plans to start installing demonstration vehicles with full-solid-state batteries around 2027, with a larger-scale adoption anticipated after 2030

BYD has made advancements in its sulfide-based solid-state battery technology, enhancing cycle life and fast-charging performance, with plans for small-batch production by 2027.
